संजय उवाच ततो युधिष्ठिरो वाक्‍्यं भीष्मस्य कुरुनन्दन । शिरसा प्रतिजग्राह भूयस्तमभिवाद्य च,संजय बोले--कुरुनन्दन! तदनन्तर महाबाहु युधिष्ठिरने भीष्मकी आज्ञाको शिरोधार्य किया और पुनः उन्हें प्रणाम करके वे द्रोणाचार्यके रथकी ओर गये। सारी सेना देख रही थी और वे उसके बीचसे होकर भाइयोंसहित द्रोणाचार्यके पास जा पहुँचे। वहाँ राजाने उन्हें प्रणाम करके उनकी परिक्रमा की और उन दुर्जय वीर-शिरोमणिसे अपने हितकी बात पूछी »“»णः

sañjaya uvāca | tato yudhiṣṭhiro vākyaṃ bhīṣmasya kurunandana | śirasā pratijagrāha bhūyas tam abhivādya ca |

Sañjaya said: Then Yudhiṣṭhira, O delight of the Kurus, accepted Bhīṣma’s words with bowed head. Having once again paid him reverence, he proceeded onward—acting in humility and discipline, placing duty above pride even amid the pressures of war.
