Chapter 47: Krauñca-vyūha Deployment and Conch-Signals

अनुमान्य यथाशान्त्र यस्तु युध्येन्महत्तरै: । ध्रुवस्तस्य जयो युद्धे भवेदिति मतिर्मम,“जो शास्त्रकी आज्ञाके अनुसार माननीय पुरुषोंसे आज्ञा लेकर युद्ध करता है, उसकी उस युद्धमें अवश्य विजय होती है, ऐसा मेरा विश्वास है”

anumānya yathāśāstraṁ yas tu yudhyen mahattaraiḥ | dhruvas tasya jayo yuddhe bhaved iti matir mama ||

Sañjaya said: “In my judgment, one who undertakes battle only after duly obtaining the consent and sanction of venerable elders, in accordance with the injunctions of the śāstras, is certain to gain victory in that war.”
