Chapter 47: Krauñca-vyūha Deployment and Conch-Signals
Kaurava–Pāṇḍava Readiness
सर्वशास्त्रमयी गीता सर्वदेवमयो हरि: । सर्वतीर्थमयी गंगा सर्ववेदमयो मनु:,गीता सर्वशास्त्रमयी है (गीतामें सब शास्त्रोंके सार-तत्त्वका समावेश है)। भगवान् श्रीहरि सर्वदेवमय हैं। गंगा सर्वतीर्थमयी हैं और मनु (उनका धर्मशास्त्र) सर्ववेदमय हैं
sarvaśāstramayī gītā sarvadevamayo hariḥ | sarvatīrthamayī gaṅgā sarvavedamayo manuḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: The Gītā embodies the essence of all śāstras; Hari (Śrī Viṣṇu) is the very presence of all the gods. The Gaṅgā contains the sanctity of all pilgrimage-places, and Manu (and his dharma-teaching) embodies the purport of all the Vedas. Thus the tradition points to a few supreme sources as comprehensive guides for dharma and right conduct.
