त॑ प्रयान्तमभिप्रेक्ष्य कुन्तीपुत्रो धनंजय: । अवतीर्य रथात् तूर्ण भ्रातृभि: सहितो5न्वयात्,कुन्तीपुत्र धनंजय उन्हें शत्रु-सेनाकी ओर जाते देख तुरंत रथसे उतर पड़े और भाइयोंसहित उनके पीछे-पीछे जाने लगे। भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण भी उनके पीछे गये तथा उन्हींमें चित्त लगाये रहनेवाले प्रधान-प्रधान राजा भी उत्सुक होकर उनके साथ गये
taṁ prayāntam abhiprekṣya kuntīputro dhanaṁjayaḥ | avatīrya rathāt tūrṇaṁ bhrātṛbhiḥ sahito 'nvayāt ||
Sañjaya said: Seeing him moving ahead toward the enemy host, Dhanañjaya (Arjuna), the son of Kuntī, quickly descended from his chariot and, accompanied by his brothers, followed after him.
