चेतसा सर्वकर्माणि मयि संन्यस्य मत्पर: । बुद्धियोगमुपश्रित्य मच्चित्त: सततं भव,सब कर्मोंका मनसे मुझमें अर्पण करके» तथा समबुद्धिरूप योगको* अवलम्बन करके मेरे परायण* और निरन्तर मुझमें चित्तवाला हो*
cetasā sarvakarmāṇi mayi saṁnyasya matparaḥ | buddhiyogam upāśritya maccittaḥ satataṁ bhava ||
Arjuna said: “Surrendering in your mind all actions to Me, making Me your highest aim, and taking refuge in the yoga of steady discernment, keep your consciousness fixed on Me at all times.”
अजुन उवाच
Mentally offer all actions to the Lord, abandon the ego of doership, rely on steady discernment (buddhi-yoga), and maintain continuous God-centered awareness—so duty is performed without attachment and with devotion.
In the Bhishma Parva dialogue on the battlefield, Arjuna addresses Krishna, articulating (and reinforcing) the discipline of acting in war and in life by dedicating all deeds to Krishna and sustaining unwavering inner focus rather than being driven by fear, grief, or personal gain.
