Signs of Victory

बहूनि च सहस्राणि प्रयुतान्यर्बुदानि च । कोट्यश्व लोकवीराणां समेता: कुरुजाडले,“कुरक्षेत्रमें इस जगत्‌के कई हजार, लाख, करोड़ और अरबों वीर एकत्र हुए हैं

bahūni ca sahasrāṇi prayutāny arbudāni ca | koṭyaś ca lokavīrāṇāṃ sametāḥ kurujāṅgale ||

Vaiśampāyana said: In Kurujāṅgala, countless heroes of the world—numbering in thousands, tens of thousands, and even in crores and arbudas—had assembled. The narration emphasizes the vast scale of the gathering at Kurukṣetra, foreshadowing the immense moral and social cost of a war in which so many bear responsibility and consequence.
