भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय २: संजयस्य दिव्यदृष्टिप्रदानम् तथा निमित्तवर्णनम्

एष ते संजयो राजन् युद्धमेतद् वदिष्यति । एतस्य सर्वसंग्रामे न परोक्षं भविष्यति,“राजन! यह संजय आपको इस युद्धका सब समाचार बताया करेगा। सम्पूर्ण संग्रामभूमिमें कोई ऐसी बात नहीं होगी, जो इसके प्रत्यक्ष न हो
eṣa te sañjayo rājan yuddham etad vadiṣyati | etasya sarva-saṅgrāme na parokṣaṁ bhaviṣyati ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “O King, this Sañjaya will recount to you the course of this war. In the entire conflict, nothing will remain hidden from his direct awareness.”
