Shloka 51

एतत्‌ तु रोचतां वाक्य यदुक्तोडसि मयानघ । एतत्‌ क्षेममहं मनन्‍्ये तव चैव कुलस्यथ च,“अनघ! मैंने जो बातें तुमसे कही हैं, वे तुम्हें रचिकर प्रतीत हों। मैं संधिको ही तुम्हारे तथा कौरवकुलके लिये कल्याणकारी मानता हूँ

etat tu rocatāṃ vākyaṃ yad ukto ’si mayānagha | etat kṣemam ahaṃ manye tava caiva kulasya ca ||

Sañjaya said: “Blameless one, may the words I have spoken to you be pleasing to your heart. I consider this course to be the truly safe and beneficial one—both for you and for your entire lineage.”
