ऑपन-माजल बक। अकाल एकविशर्त्याधेकशततमो< ध्याय: अर्जुनका दिव्य जल प्रकट करके भीष्मजीकी प्यास बुझाना तथा भीष्मजीका अर्जुनकी प्रशंसा करते हुए दुर्योधनको संधिके लिये समझाना संजय उवाच व्युष्टायां तु महाराज शर्वर्या सर्वपार्थिवा: | पाण्डवा धार्तराष्ट्रश्न उपातिष्ठनू पितामहम्,संजय कहते हैं--महाराज! जब रात बीती और सबेरा हुआ, उस समय सब राजा, पाण्डव तथा आपके पुत्र पुनः वीर-शय्यापर सोये हुए वीर पितामह भीष्मकी सेवामें उपस्थित हुए। कुरुश्रेष्ठ! वे सब क्षत्रिय क्षत्रियशिरोमणि भीष्मजीको प्रणाम करके उनके समीप खड़े हो गये
sañjaya uvāca | vyuṣṭāyāṃ tu mahārāja śarvaryāṃ sarvapārthivāḥ | pāṇḍavā dhārtarāṣṭrāś ca upātiṣṭhan pitāmaham ||
Sañjaya said: “O King, when the night had passed and morning had come, all the rulers—both the Pāṇḍavas and the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra—again gathered to attend upon Grandfather Bhīṣma as he lay upon his hero’s bed of arrows. Having bowed to that foremost of Kuru warriors, they stood near him in reverent service.”

After night ends, the assembled kings—Pāṇḍavas and Dhṛtarāṣṭras—come again to Bhīṣma, who lies on his bed of arrows, to stand near him, bow to him, and attend upon him.
