Shloka 37

ततो वीक्ष्य नरश्रेष्ठम भ्यभाषत पाण्डवम्‌ | धनंजयं दीर्घबाहुं सर्वलोकमहारथम्‌,इसके बाद वे सम्पूर्ण लोकोंके विख्यात महारथी नरश्रेष्ठ महाबाहु पाण्डुपुत्र धनंजयकी ओर देखकर इस प्रकार बोले--

tato vīkṣya naraśreṣṭham abhyabhāṣata pāṇḍavam | dhanañjayaṃ dīrghabāhuṃ sarvalokamahāratham ||

Then, looking at that best of men—the Pāṇḍava—Dhanañjaya of long arms, renowned as a great chariot-warrior throughout all the worlds, he addressed him in these words, setting the stage for counsel amid the moral strain of impending battle.
