Shloka 30

व्युपरम्य ततो युद्धाद्‌ योधा: शतसहस्रश: । उपतस्थुर्महात्मानं प्रजापतिमिवामरा:,तदनन्तर लाखों योद्धा युद्धसे विरत होकर जैसे देवता प्रजापतिकी सेवामें उपस्थित होते हैं, उसी प्रकार महात्मा भीष्मके पास आये

vyuparamya tato yuddhād yodhāḥ śatasahasraśaḥ | upatasthur mahātmānaṃ prajāpativ ivāmarāḥ ||

Sanjaya said: Then, ceasing from the battle, warriors by the hundreds of thousands approached the great-souled Bhishma, just as the gods attend upon Prajapati. The verse underscores a momentary suspension of violence and a shift from combat to reverent attendance upon a revered elder, highlighting the moral weight of Bhishma’s stature even amid war.
