Transliteration

taiś ca muktoccharān bhīṣmo yudhi satyaparākramaḥ

Translation

Sañjaya said: In that battle, Bhīṣma—whose valor never proved false—released those arrows, meeting the moment with unwavering martial resolve and the stern duty of a warrior on the field.
