अयं चापि महेष्वास: पार्षतो वाहिनीपति: । भीमसेनश्न समरे पालयिष्यति वो ध्रुवम्,'ये महाधनुर्थधर सेनापति धृष्टद्युम्मन तथा भीमसेन भी समरांगणमें निश्चय ही तुम सब लोगोंकी रक्षा करेंगे
ayaṁ cāpi maheṣvāsaḥ pārṣato vāhinīpatiḥ | bhīmasenaś ca samare pālayiṣyati vo dhruvam ||
Sañjaya said: “And this great archer too—Dhṛṣṭadyumna, the son of Pṛṣata and commander of the army—together with Bhīmasena, will surely protect you all in the battle.” In the ethical frame of the war, the verse underscores the duty of appointed leaders to safeguard their side through courage, skill, and steadfast resolve.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the dharma of military leadership: capable commanders and warriors are responsible for protecting their people, and steadfast assurance (dhruvam) strengthens morale and resolve in a righteous struggle.
