Shloka 103

Ulūpī’s Disclosure and the Saṃjīvana-Maṇi: Arjuna’s Restoration (उलूपी-प्रकटनं संजीवनमणि-स्थापनं च)

कर्मणा तेन पापेन पतेथा निरये ध्रुवम्‌ । “उसकी शान्ति किये बिना ही यदि आप प्राणोंका परित्याग करते तो उस पापकर्मके प्रभावसे निश्चय ही नरकमें पड़ते

karmaṇā tena pāpena pateṭhā niraye dhruvam |

Arjuna said: “Because of that sinful deed, you would certainly have fallen into hell. Had you abandoned your life without first making peace and setting right the wrong, the moral consequence of that act would have dragged you to a dreadful fate.”
