Muñjavān on Himavat: Maheśvara’s abode, Śiva-stuti, and sacrificial gold
Chapter 8

Saṃvarta said: “(I offer reverence) to Rudra—blue-throated, the supreme Person of radiant splendor; to the matted-haired Lord, the awe-inspiring One; to the tawny-eyed deity, and to the gracious Giver of boons.” In this litany of epithets, the speaker frames Śiva not merely as fearsome in form but as ethically significant: the same power that can terrify also protects and grants благessing, inviting devotion grounded in humility and trust.
