Adhyāya 51: Kṛṣṇa’s Leave-Taking and Departure for Dvārakā (द्वारकागमनानुमति)

मयि चेदस्ति ते प्रीतिर्नित्यं कुरुकुलोद्वह । अध्यात्ममेतच्छुत्वा त्वं सम्यगाचर सुव्रत,उत्तम व्रतका पालन करनेवाले कुरुकुलनन्दन! यदि मुझपर तुम्हारा प्रेम हो तो इस अध्यात्मज्ञानको सुनकर तुम नित्य इसका यथावत्‌ पालन करो

mayi ced asti te prītir nityaṁ kurukulodvaha | adhyātmam etac chrutvā tvaṁ samyag āchara suvrata ||

Vāyu said: “O foremost bearer of the Kuru line, if you truly hold constant affection and reverence for me, then—having heard this teaching of the inner Self—practice it rightly and continually, with the steadfast discipline of one devoted to the highest vow.”
