द्रव्यमात्रभूत्‌ सत्त्वं पुरुषस्येति निश्चय:

Transliteration

dravyamātrabhūt sattvaṃ puruṣasyeti niścayaḥ

Translation

Vāyu said: “The settled conclusion is this: the ‘being’ (sattva) of a person is nothing but a mere material constituent—only a thing among things.”
