Educational Q&A

The verse uses expansive natural imagery—two vast trees pervading a forest and yielding abundant flowers and fruits—to suggest overflowing generativity and pervasive influence; in didactic contexts this often supports reflection on how a single source (or pair of principles) can sustain and shape an entire field of life.

A brāhmaṇa describes a scene within a forest: two enormous trees stand there, spreading across the woodland and continually producing many flowers and fruits of indistinct coloration.
