अन्तर्वन-विद्यारण्योपमा

The Allegory of the Inner Forest of Knowledge

सुरभीणि द्विवर्णानि पुष्पाणि च फलानि च । सृजन्तः पादपास्तत्र व्याप्य तिष्ठन्ति तद्‌ वनम्‌,तीसरे वृक्ष वहाँ सुगन्धयुक्त दो रंगवाले पुष्प और फल प्रदान करते हुए उस वनको व्याप्त करके स्थित हैं

surabhīṇi dvivarṇāni puṣpāṇi ca phalāni ca | sṛjantaḥ pādapās tatra vyāpya tiṣṭhanti tad vanam ||

The brāhmaṇa said: “There, the trees pervade the whole forest, standing spread throughout it, continually producing fragrant flowers of two colours, and fruits as well.”
