प्रयोजन च निर्वत्तमिह वासे ममार्जुन । धार्तराष्ट्रो हतो राजा सबल: सपदानुग:,अर्जुन! यहाँ मेरे रहनेका जो प्रयोजन था, वह पूरा हो गया है। धृतराष्ट्रका पुत्र राजा दुर्योधन अपनी सेना और सेवकोंके साथ मारा गया

Transliteration

prayojanaṁ ca nirvṛttam iha vāse mamārjuna | dhārtarāṣṭro hato rājā sabalaḥ sapadānugaḥ ||

Translation

Vāyu said: “O Arjuna, the purpose for which I had taken up residence here has now been fulfilled. The Dhārtarāṣṭra king—Duryodhana, son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra—has been slain, together with his forces and those who followed and served him.”
