Vāyu said: “Where the king, the son of Dharma—Yudhiṣṭhira—abides; where Bhīma of great strength is present; and where the two sons of Mādrī, Nakula and Sahadeva, are found—there my highest delight rests.” In ethical tone, the verse links Vāyu’s joy to the presence of dharma-guided kingship, steadfast strength, and fraternal unity among the Pāṇḍavas.
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse teaches that true divine satisfaction aligns with dharma-centered leadership (Yudhiṣṭhira), righteous strength (Bhīma), and harmonious brotherhood (Nakula–Sahadeva). Joy is portrayed not as mere pleasure but as approval rooted in virtue and unity.
Vāyudeva speaks, declaring that his supreme joy is found wherever the principal Pāṇḍavas—especially Yudhiṣṭhira, Bhīma, and Mādrī’s twin sons—are present, indicating divine affinity and support for their dharmic presence.
