रमे चाहं त्वया सार्धमरण्येष्वपि पाण्डव । किमु यत्र जनो<यं वै पृथा चामित्रकर्षण,शत्रुसूदन पाण्डुकुमार! तुम्हारे साथ रहनेपर निर्जन वनमें भी मुझे सुख और आनन्द मिल सकता है। फिर जहाँ इतने लोग और मेरी बुआ कुन्ती हों, वहाँकी तो बात ही क्‍या है?

Transliteration

rame cāhaṃ tvayā sārdham araṇyeṣv api pāṇḍava | kimu yatra jano 'yaṃ vai pṛthā cāmītrakārṣaṇa ||

Translation

Vāyu said: “Even in lonely forests, O Pāṇḍava, I can find joy and contentment simply by being with you. How much more, then, in a place like this where so many people are present—and where Pṛthā (Kuntī), my aunt, is also here, O subduer of foes.”
