वंशानुकीर्तनम् — Genealogical Recitation from Dakṣa to Yayāti and the Establishment of the Paurava Line

देवतायतनानां च प्रेक्ष्य पूजां कृतां द्विजै: । ब्रह्मलोकस्थमात्मानं मेने स नृपसत्तम:,द्विजोंद्वारा की हुई देवालयोंकी पूजा-पद्धति देखकर नृपश्रेष्ठ दुष्यन्तने ऐसा समझा कि मैं ब्रह्मलोकमें आ पहुँचा हूँ

Transliteration

devatāyatanānāṁ ca prekṣya pūjāṁ kṛtāṁ dvijaiḥ | brahmalokastham ātmānaṁ mene sa nṛpasattamaḥ ||

Translation

Seeing the worship in the temples of the gods duly performed by the twice-born, that best of kings (Duṣyanta) imagined himself to have arrived in Brahmaloka—so elevated and sanctified did the scene appear to him.
