नानावाक्यसमाहारसमवायविशारदै: । विशेषकार्यविद्धिश्न मोक्षधर्मपरायणै:

Transliteration

nānāvākyasamāhārasamavāyaviśāradaiḥ | viśeṣakāryaviddhiṣṇu mokṣadharmaparāyaṇaiḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: They were experts in assembling and harmonizing many kinds of statements, skilled in discerning what should be done in particular situations, and devoted to the dharma that leads to liberation.
