सर्व एव हि नस्तावद् बुद्धिमन्तो विचक्षणा: । अपि मन्त्रयमाणा हि हेतुं पश्याम मोक्षणे
sarva eva hi nas tāvad buddhimanto vicakṣaṇāḥ | api mantrayamāṇā hi hetuṁ paśyāma mokṣaṇe ||
“All of us, for our part, are intelligent and discerning. Yet even after deliberating together, we do not see any sound means by which release can be secured.”
