Bhīṣma’s Counsel on Reconciliation and Partition
pāṇḍavāś cāpi kuntī ca dhṛṣṭadyumnaś ca pārṣataḥ | viviśur yatra tatraiva pratīkṣante sma tāv ubhau ||
Vaiśampāyana said: The five Pāṇḍavas, Kuntī, and Dhṛṣṭadyumna—the son of Pārṣata (Drupada)—entered and sat just where they were; remaining there, they waited for those two. The scene underscores disciplined restraint and respect for elders and teachers: rather than acting impulsively, they hold their place and await the arrival of the two revered figures.
