Thus, in the Śrī Mahābhārata’s Ādi Parva, within the Vaivāhika section, the one-hundred-and-ninety-third chapter—concerning the testing of Yudhiṣṭhira and the others—comes to its close. The narrator signals a formal transition, emphasizing that the events are being arranged as a purposeful examination of character and conduct.

The closing notice frames the preceding events as a deliberate parīkṣā (test) of Yudhiṣṭhira and others, underscoring a Mahābhārata theme: dharma is clarified through trials that reveal inner disposition, restraint, and ethical choice.
This is a colophon-style concluding line: the narrator indicates that the chapter dealing with the examination of Yudhiṣṭhira and his companions has ended within the Vaivāhika portion of the Ādi Parva, marking a formal transition to what follows.
