समुद्रवर्णनम् (Description of the Ocean) — Kadrū and Vinatā approach the sea
ततः प्रवृत्त: संग्राम: समीपे लवणाम्भस: । सुराणामसुराणां च सर्वघोरतरो महान्,फिर तो क्षारसागरके समीप देवताओं और असुरोंका सबसे भयंकर महासंग्राम छिड़ गया
tataḥ pravṛttaḥ saṅgrāmaḥ samīpe lavaṇāmbhasaḥ | surāṇām asurāṇāṃ ca sarvaghorataro mahān |
Then, near the salt ocean, a great battle broke out—most dreadful of all—between the gods and the asuras. The scene signals how rivalry driven by power and possession can erupt into overwhelming violence, setting the stage for later reflections on rightful conduct amid conflict.
