देवसत्रे मृत्युनिरोधः, पूर्वेन्द्राणां मानुषावतरणम्, द्रौपदी-वरकथनम्

तांस्तथावादिन: सर्वान् प्रसमीक्ष्य क्षिती श्वरान् । अथान्यान् पुरुषांश्षापि कृत्वा तत् कर्म संयुगे,उन सब राजाओं तथा अन्य लोगोंको ऐसी बातें करते देख और युद्धमें वह महान् पराक्रम दिखाकर भीमसेन और अर्जुन बड़े प्रसन्न थे
tāṁs tathāvādinaḥ sarvān prasmīkṣya kṣitīśvarān | athānyān puruṣāṁś cāpi kṛtvā tat karma saṁyuge ||
Vaiśampāyana said: Having observed all those kings speaking in that manner, and having also dealt with the other men by performing that deed amid the clash of battle, the narrative underscores how public words and battlefield actions together shape reputation and moral judgment in a royal conflict.
