पराशरस्य राक्षससत्रनिवृत्तिः | Paraśara’s Rakṣasa-Satra and Its Cessation
तस्मादेवं गते काले याचस्व पितरं मम । आदित्यं प्रणिपातेन तपसा नियमेन च,ऐसी दशामें आप यथासमय नमस्कार, तपस्या और नियमके द्वारा मेरे पिता भगवान् सूर्यको प्रसन्न करके उनसे मुझे माँग लीजिये
tasmād evaṁ gate kāle yācasva pitaraṁ mama | ādityaṁ praṇipātena tapasā niyamena ca ||
“Since matters have come to this pass, at the proper time approach my father, Āditya (the Sun). With reverent prostration, austerity, and disciplined observances, win his favor and then ask him to grant me to you.”
गन्धर्व उवाच
Legitimate aims should be pursued through dharmic means: humility (praṇipāta), self-discipline (niyama), and sustained effort (tapas) to gain rightful consent—especially when divine or elder authority is involved.
A Gandharva instructs the other party that the proper way to obtain him is not by force or haste, but by approaching his father, the Sun-god Āditya, and requesting the boon after performing respectful worship, austerity, and disciplined observances.
