Vāraṇāvata-prasaṃsā and the Pāṇḍavas’ Departure (वरणावत-प्रशंसा तथा पाण्डव-प्रयाणम्)
वैशम्पायन उवाच ततो यथोक्तं द्रोणेन तत् सर्व कृतमज्जसा,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! तदनन्तर द्रोणने जैसा कहा था, वह सब कुछ अनायास ही कर दिखाया
vaiśampāyana uvāca | tato yathoktaṃ droṇena tat sarvaṃ kṛtam ajjasā |
Vaiśampāyana said: Then, exactly as Droṇa had instructed, everything was accomplished with ease and without delay. The narration underscores the efficacy of disciplined instruction and the swift execution that follows when a capable agent acts in accordance with a teacher’s word.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the power of following a competent teacher’s instruction precisely: when guidance is sound and execution is disciplined, results come swiftly and smoothly.
Vaiśampāyana reports to the listener that, after Droṇa gave directions, the required tasks were carried out exactly as told, and they were completed easily.
