देवानां पत्नीः पृष्टय उपसदः पर्शवः
devā́nāṃ pátnīḥ pṛṣṭáya úpasadaḥ párśavaḥ
The Consorts of the Gods are the back-parts; the Upasads are the flanks; the ribs are their enclosing stays.
