The life-bestowing, the unassailable, the living Herb do I invoke—protecting, overpowering, rich in might—here, for this man, unto unhurtful safety.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (often attributed generically to Atharvan/Angiras for āyuṣya hymns; specific r̥ṣi assignment depends on Anukramaṇī).
Devata: Oṣadhi (healing herb) as protective power; implicitly opposed to Mṛtyu and Kravyād.
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (predominant in AV healing/apotropaic verses; confirm per pada count in critical edition).
{"primary_rasa":"adbhuta","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_arc":"From summoning → empowerment → safe resolution (ariṣṭa).","listener_experience":"Wonder at living plant-power, followed by calm assurance of protection.","intensity":6}
