The Stars, the splendid ones, together—heaven’s shining lights—gliding, swift within the world: seeking succour and good favour, with hymns I worship Heaven through the days.

सुहवमग्ने कृत्तिका रोहिणी चास्तु भद्रं मृगशिरः शमार्द्रा। पुनर्वसू सूनृता चारु पुष्यो भानुराश्लेषा अयनं मघा मे
Easy to invoke, O Agni—let Kṛttikā and Rohiṇī be auspicious; let Mṛgaśiras be welfare, and Ārdrā be peace. Punarvasū, gracious Truth, fair Puṣya, radiant Āśleṣā—let Maghā be my course.

पुण्यं पूर्वा फल्गुन्यौ चात्र हस्तश्चित्रा शिवा स्वाति सुखो मे अस्तु । राधे विशाखे सुहवानुराधा ज्येष्ठा सुनक्षत्रमरिष्ट मूलम्
Auspicious be the former Phalgunīs, and here be Hasta; let Citrā be kindly; let Svātī be my ease. O Rādhā, O Viśākhā, easy to invoke—Anurādhā; let Jyeṣṭhā be well-starred; let Mūla be unharmed.

अन्नं पूर्वा रासतां मे अषाढा ऊर्जं देव्युत्तरा आ वहन्तु । अभिजिन्मे रासतां पुण्यमेव श्रवणः श्रविष्ठाः कुर्वतां सुपुष्टिम्
May the former (Stars) bestow on me food; may the unconquered Aṣāḍhās, the divine Later Ones, convey hither vital strength. May Abhijit grant me auspicious good; may Śravaṇa and Śraviṣṭhā, most famed, make for me fair thriving.
Mantra 5
आ मे महच्छतभिषग् वरीय आ मे द्वया प्रोष्ठपदा सुशर्म । आ रेवती चाश्वयुजौ भगं म आ मे रयिं भरण्य आ वहन्तु
Hither to me (come) great Śatabhiṣaj, with boon the better; hither to me the two Proṣṭhapadās, a kindly shelter. Hither Revatī, and the Aśvayuj pair—good fortune for me; and Bharaṇī, let her bring hither to me wealth.
