शं ते नीहारो भवतु शं ते प्रुष्वाव शीयताम्। शीतिके शीतिकावति ह्लादिके ह्लादिकावति । मण्डूक्य१प्सु शं भुव इमं स्व१ग्निं शमय
śáṃ te nīhāró bhavatu śáṃ te prúṣvā́ ava śīyatām | śītíke śītíkāvati hlā́dike hlā́dikāvati | māṇḍūky àpsu śáṃ bhuva imáṃ svàgníṃ śamaya
Weal be to thee: let mist be thine; weal be to thee: let the sprinkling-dew sink down and abate. O Cooling One, rich in coolness; O Refreshing One, rich in refreshment—frog-born in the waters, be thou for peace; this goodly fire do thou appease.
