Be ye in sound estate for us, O Indu: for your yoking we bring, with reverent homage, the ancient spell. Forth goes the proclamation on the wholesome path; let all the Immortals hearken unto this.
Rishi: Traditionally associated with Atharvanic seers in the AV 18 funerary corpus (often classed under Atharvan/Angiras lineages).
Devata: Indu/Soma; and by extension Viśve Devāḥ (All the Gods) as hearers.
Chandas: Triṣṭubh-like cadence (as transmitted in AV 18; metrical exactness varies by pada division).
