Sukta 2

उरूणसावसुतृपावुदुम्बलौ यमस्य दूतौ चरतो जनां अनु । तावस्मभ्यं दृशये सूर्याय पुनर्दातामसुमद्येह भद्रम्

urūṇasā́u vasutṛ́pāu udumbalā́u yámasya dūtáu carato jánāṃ ánu | tā́v asmábhyaṃ dṛśáye sū́ryāya púnar dātām ásum adyéhá bhadrám

Broad-nosed, well-content with goodly store, udumbara-marked—Yama’s two messengers—these roam, following after men. Let those two, for us, give back for sight, for the Sun, the life-breath again—this day, here—auspicious good.
