Mantra 10

Sukta 17

तस्य व्रात्यस्य । एकं तदेषाममृतत्वमित्याहुतिरेव

tásya vrā́tyasya | ékaṃ tád eṣām amṛtatvám íty āhúr utír evá

Of that Vratya—this one thing of theirs is immortality, so, men say: it is aid indeed.

Rishi: Vratya/Brāhmaṇa-style anonymous tradition (AV 15 Vratya corpus)

Devata: Vratya (as cosmic person/principle); Amṛtatva (deathlessness) as the operative power

Chandas: Mixed/prose-like Atharvanic style (Brāhmaṇa-type cadence rather than strict RV meter)

{"primary_rasa":"shanta","secondary_rasa":"adbhuta","emotional_arc":"From identification of the Vratya → concentration into ‘one thing’ → resting in ‘aid indeed’","listener_experience":"Quiet assurance; contemplative awe at a single salvific principle","intensity":4}
