या ओषधयो या नद्यो३ यानि क्षेत्राणि या वना । तास्त्वा वधु प्रजावतीं पत्ये रक्षन्तु रक्षसः
yā́ oṣádhayo yā́ nádyo yā́ni kṣétrāṇi yā́ vánā | tā́s tvā vádhu prajā́vatīṃ pátye rakṣantu rákṣasaḥ
What herbs there be, what rivers, what fields, what forests—let them, O bride, protect thee, rich in offspring, for thy husband, from the Rakṣas-fiends.
