Sukta 2
अर्वाङ् परस्तात् प्रयतो व्यध्व आशुर्विपश्चित् पतयन् पतङ्गः । विष्णुर्विचित्तः शवसाधितिष्ठन् प्र केतुना सहते विश्वमेजत्
arvā́ṅ parástāt práyataḥ vyàdhv āśúrvipáścit patáyan pataṅgáḥ | víṣṇur vícittaḥ śávasādhi-tíṣṭhan prá ketúnā sahate víśvam éjat ||
Hitherward from beyond, impelled along the paths, swift and wise, flying—the Patanga. Viṣṇu, of manifold appearance, presiding with might, with his ray-banner overcometh all that stirreth and moveth.
