Sukta 2
चतुर्नमो अष्टकृत्वो भवाय दश कृत्वः पशुपते नमस्ते । तवेमे पञ्च पशवो विभक्ता गावो अश्वाः पुरुषा अजावयः
catúr námo aṣṭakṛ́tvo bhavā́ya dáśa kṛ́tvaḥ paśupate námas te | tavéme páñca paśávo víbhaktā gā́vo aśvā́ḥ púruṣā ajā́ aváyaḥ ||
Fourfold homage, eight times, to Bhava; ten times, O Lord of creatures, homage to thee. Thine are these five kinds of cattle, apportioned—cows, horses, men, goats, and sheep.
