áyo-mukhāḥ sūcī́-mukhā átho vikaṅkatī́-mukhāḥ | kravyā́do vā́ta-raṃhasaḥ ā́ sajantv amítrān vájreṇa triṣaṃ́dhinā ||
Iron-mouthed, needle-mouthed, yea, with vikaṅkatī-beaks—flesh-eaters, wind-swift—let them fasten upon the foes, with the thunderbolt, with the three-jointed (Triṣaṃdhi) weapon.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (often anonymous/Angiras-type in this kanda; hymn ascribed in later indices variably)
Devata: Triṣaṃdhi (personified weapon/host) with Indraic vajra-power; also kravyāda-senā as agents
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (predominant; pāda-structure consistent with late Atharvanic anuṣṭubh usage)
{"primary_rasa":"raudra","secondary_rasa":"vira","emotional_arc":"Summoning → acceleration → impact upon the foe.","listener_experience":"Heightened power, protective ferocity, readiness to act.","intensity":9}
