यं देवाः पितरो मनुष्याऽ उपजीवन्ति सर्वदा। स मायमधि रोहतु मणिः श्रैष्ठ्याय मूर्धतः
yáṃ devā́ḥ pitáro manuṣyā́ upajī́vanti sarvadā́ | sá māyám ádhi rohatu maṇíḥ śráiṣṭhyā́ya mūrdhatáḥ ||
He on whom Gods, Fathers, and mankind evermore subsist—let that Jewel mount upon me with its wondrous power, from the head, for highest excellence.
