Sukta 5

वरुणस्य भाग स्थ। अपां शुक्रमापो देवीर्वर्चो अस्मासु धत्त । प्रजापतेर्वो धाम्नास्मै लोकाय सादये

váruṇasya bhāgá sthá | apā́ṃ śukrám ā́po devī́r várcó asmā́su dhatta | prajā́pater vó dhā́mnā́smái lokā́ya sādáye

Ye are Varuṇa’s portion. O bright Ones of the Waters, O Waters, Goddesses, bestow ye splendour upon us. By Prajāpati’s ordinance—by your own established might—do I seat this man in yonder world (his proper realm).
