Vaṣaṭ to thee, O Pūṣan: in this bringing-forth let Aryaman, the wise Ordainer, be made the Hotar. Let the woman, rightly generated, flow forth; let the joints and bindings fall apart—let go, O bearer of birth, even now.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (often anonymous/collective for early AV domestic charms); hymn attributed in later indices to Atharvan/Angiras-type seers.
Devata: Pūṣan and Aryaman (with Hotar-function transferred to Aryaman/vedhāḥ).
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (with Atharvanic irregularities possible in transmission).
