ब्रह्मणो मानसाः सप्त तेषामन्ये तपोधनाः । तेषामन्ये ततस्त्वन्ये चतुर्द्धा भूतसंग्रहः । सस्थानुजङ्गमानां च सृष्टिः सर्वत्र संस्थिता ॥
brahmaṇo mānasāḥ sapta teṣām anye tapodhanāḥ | teṣām anye tatas tv anye caturddhā bhūtasaṃgrahaḥ | sasthānujāṅgamānāṃ ca sṛṣṭiḥ sarvatra saṃsthitā ||
Dari Brahmā lahirlah tujuh putra manasika (terlahir dari pikiran); di antara mereka ada yang kaya akan daya tapa. Dari mereka, lalu dari yang lain lagi, himpunan makhluk menjadi empat macam; dan penciptaan yang diam maupun bergerak ditegakkan di segala tempat.
