पद्मासनो मे जनकः प्रसिद्धश्चैतत्प्रसूतावसकृत्पुराणैः । सम्बोध्यते नाथ न मद्विधोऽपि विदुर्भवन्तं तपसा विहीनाः ॥ ७३.२९ ॥

Ayahku, Padmāsana (Brahmā) yang termasyhur, dalam Purāṇa-Purāṇa berulang kali disapa sebagai penggagas kelahiran ciptaan ini. Namun, wahai Nātha, bahkan yang sepertiku pun tidak sungguh memahami-Mu; mereka yang tanpa tapa tidak mengenal-Mu.
