Varaha Purana 65.4 — Adhyaya 65, Shloka 4

The Sovereignty Vow and the Cycle of Tithi-Based Observances

एवमुक्त्वा बलिं तासु दत्त्वा शुद्धेन चेतसा । ततो रात्रौ तु भुञ्जीत दध्यन्नं तु सुसंस्कृतम् ॥ ६५.४ ॥

evam uktvā baliṁ tāsu dattvā śuddhena cetasā | tato rātrau tu bhuñjīta dadhyannaṁ tu susaṁskṛtam || 65.4 ||

Setelah mengucapkan demikian dan mempersembahkan bali kepada para penjuru dengan batin yang disucikan, kemudian pada malam hari hendaknya ia menyantap dadhi-anna, nasi bercampur dadih, yang dipersiapkan dengan baik.
