अगस्त्य उवाच । शृणु राजन् महाभाग व्रतानामुत्तमं व्रतम् । येन सम्प्राप्यते विष्णुः शुभेनैव न संशयः ॥ ५५.१ ॥

agastya uvāca | śṛṇu rājan mahābhāga vratānām uttamaṃ vratam | yena samprāpyate viṣṇuḥ śubhenaiva na saṃśayaḥ || 55.1 ||

Agastya berkata: “Wahai raja yang mulia, dengarkan ikrar suci yang paling utama; dengan laku yang penuh keberkahan semata Viṣṇu dicapai—tanpa keraguan.”
