FAQs

It functions as a narrative hinge typical of Purāṇic composition: after a successful cosmic intervention, the text signals a shift toward subsequent duties, illustrating how Purāṇas structure events into completed and forthcoming phases of cosmic order.

No specific geographic location is named in this verse; it is a scene-setting statement focused on completion of a task and initiation of further instruction.

Rather than a direct moral injunction, the verse foregrounds the principle of responsibility across time: once a duty is fulfilled, attention turns to future obligations (bhaviṣya-kārya), a common Purāṇic framing for sustained stewardship and governance.
